“TO CREATE IS TO RESIST, TO RESIST IS TO CREATE” – STÉPHANE HESSEL
Amidst a devastating economic crisis that completely collapsed the Spanish economy, soaring unemployment rates and corruption scandals abounded. Inspired by the book “Indignez- Vous” by Stéphane Hessel, thousands of people took the streets to protest in search of a political and economic shift. They were widely known as Los Indignados (“The Outraged”).
