“WHEN I’M GONE, NO ONE WILL CONTINUE” – MR. CHOO YEW CHOON
A standing symbol of Malaysian history, the Trishaw is a three-wheeled vehicle that was long used for regular transportation around the cities. Nowadays, Trishaws carry tourists around town and are becoming a legacy, struggling for survival. Mr. Choo Yew Choon, a fourth-generation Trishaw maker of Hokkien origin, is the last Trishaw-maker on the island of Penang- and one of the few left in all of Malaysia.
